The Ministry of Fire was founded by Dr. Mildred J. Gonzalez and her son, Dr. Felix J. Gonzalez in Hartford, Connecticut in 1992. Their vision is to see the body of Christ fulfill their God given destiny. They believe that Jesus not only came to bring salvation, but that all believers can live in victory, wholeness and abundance. Dr. Mildred’s desire is to ignite a fresh passion in the hearts of believers to go deeper in their relationship with God. “We want to see Christians taking up their responsibility to heal the sick, raise the dead, and make the blind to see. For too long we have been asleep and comfortable in our man-made Christianity movement. It is time to take up arms; spiritual weapons of warfare and as a united army for the Lord make His presence known by breaking down strongholds in the lives of His people that have held them back for so long.”

Dr. Gonzalez is a woman of faith and had made a decision to believe for the impossible, knowing that God is faithful. Throughout the years of ministry she has been guided daily by the mighty hand of God and has seen many people healed from cancer, high blood pressure, diabetes and many, many financial miracles. Presently, Ministry of Fire International has expanded with ministries in Orlando, Florida and San Jose, Costa Rica. In response to the prophetic calling, Dr. Gonzalez travels to the nations to awaken the body of Christ, as she prophetically unlocks destiny and purpose, in the lives of Christian believers.

Ministry of Fire International is an apostolic and prophetic ministry commissioned to bring the healing anointing of God around the world. Dr Gonzalez has wholeheartedly accepted the Lord’s challenge and dedicates herself to preach the good news to the poor, to bind up the brokenhearted, and proclaim freedom for the captives. We are called to train, equip and rise up leaders who are “sold out” to the Lord, as we help them fulfill their plan and purpose for which they were uniquely created.

Dr Gonzalez is an author of the book, Miracles in The Life of My Servant, and also the Spanish edition - Hace Dios Milagros Hoy? which was written to encourage the body of Christ. In her book she recounts of the numerous miraculous interventions by the Lord.
