| The Healing Power of God |
We must desire to have excellent health for God’s glory!
I am a living testimony of God’s merciful healing. His desire is to heal, give us peace, direction and to love us regardless of who we
are.
I want to share one of many supernatural healings from my personal life. Years ago, I was suffering from an illness. The doctors
found a tumor and I was in need of surgery. I remember getting home that afternoon and sharing this news with my son. His
response was; “God can heal you”. The next day he went to school and with two of his friends, decided to pray for my situation and
believe God for my total healing. The day of the surgery was approaching and the tumor was still the same size. Weeks went by and
I did not see any changes. I was going to have to go through the surgery. But then a miracle happened. The day before the
surgery, I notice that the tumor was getting smaller. The morning of the surgery, the tumor had disappeared. When I arrived at the
hospital, the doctor could not believe it. He could not find the tumor. To God Be All Glory
I would like to exhort you to trust God no matter what your situation is. He is faithful and He has the best for you. Do not ask why,
but say why not? You might not understand what is going on, but He is still God and His promises will never change.
We all want to see miracles in our lives but none of us want to go to the trial which at the end will give God all the glory.
We hear so many Christians talking about faith. What is faith? “Faith is the union of our hearts and our will with God’s will and
purpose; and when the unity is lacking results are impossible.” Reverend P. Gavin Duffy
Faith always implies obedience. Paul wrote to obey the first commandment. “Thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart.”
Ephesians 6:3 “That it may be well with thee, and thou may live long on this earth.”
Psalm 91:14 “Because He has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him.”
The anointing with oil for healing purposes is a symbol and a sign of consecration.
“The anointing with oil in the name of the Lord, was an act of dedication and consecration, implying on the part of one anointed a full
surrender to God of his hands to work for Him and for Him alone, of his feet to walk for Him and Him alone, his eyes to see, his lips to
speak, his ears to hear for Him and Him alone and his whole body to be the temple of the Holy Spirit.” Reverend R. Torrey
Do you think that one of the reasons we are not healed is because we are not totally surrender to God? I am wondering. Hum!!
That is something we should think about. Many will say that the reason we are not healed is because you did not have enough faith.
We might never know why some people are healed and others are not. This is one of the mysteries and this is the perfect time for us
to say; “we do not have the answer.”
3 John 2 –“Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospers.”
I trust that the all mighty God’s, as you read this teaching, healing power will descend and touch your body. Be healed in Jesus
name and for His Glory.
