The world around us is quickly changing, which means for many life, may be defined by uncertainty. Unexpected changes may cause anxiety and fear to rise up. In the midst of life’s challenges, we can rely on God, who is constant and consistent. He is the Rock of our salvation and promises to be with us through the storms of life. God tells us in Isaiah 41:10, “Don’t be afraid for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with My victorious right hand.” When we keep our thoughts fixed on God, thoughts of doubt and fear, are soon replaced with hope and expectation. It doesn’t matter how uncertain the future may look. God promises that the light at the end of the tunnel will grow brighter and brighter. Thank Him for His help, strength, and victory and you will begin to experience a life empowered by God and not by fear.
