In the bible, Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers. He spent a total of 11 years as a slave and two years in prison for a crime he did not commit. All through those years of pain, heartache, and suffering, God was working behind the scenes of Joseph’s life. He was preparing Joseph for a very leadership. Joseph had been at all the right places, and at the right times. When a famine hit the land, Joseph rose to be the 2nd most powerful man in the world, due to the need for his skills and talents.
