Beloved saints, you must have question God: “Why He allows bad things to happen which is seriously troubling–especially when those bad things happen to people who didn’t cause them?”
It’s one that all of us have to wrestle with. Spent considerable time searching/tracking down where each of these areas addressed appear in the Bible.
Many theologian ministers, teachers had tried their best to come up with one personal resolution of this question! Beloved unless we have an understanding of the related scriptures.
I would encourage you to study what the Lord saying through these words and related scriptures references below. I firmly believe the studying-meditating of His words plus intimate fellowship with His Spirit for greater understanding is so quite appropriate at this hour!
You Ask Me Why I Allow…
You ask Me why I allow evil to exist. Why do I allow bad things to happen? Why do I not stop all the consequences of people’s bad choices? Please hear Me as I speak to you…
Scriptures references:
Ps. 119:7-15 – I will praise You with an upright heart, when I learn your righteous decrees/rules. 8 I will keep Your statutes….11 I have stored up your Word in my heart, that I might not sin against You. 12Blessed are You, O LORD; teach me Your statutes… [ESV]
Ask Me for a heart of wisdom to have understanding. Study My Word prayerfully with your heart open so you can hear My Holy Spirit speak to you. As you submit yourself to Me I will teach you.
You will learn “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness—His way of doing and being right—even by understanding the character and nature of God—and all things you have need of will be given to you. So do not worry but cast your cares, your worries, upon Me because I care for you.
Scriptures references:
James 1:5 – If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him. [AMP]
Ps. 119:104 – Through Your precepts, I get understanding; therefore, I hate every false way. [Also read Ps.25, “Teach Me Your Paths” and Ps. 32, “Blessed Are the Forgiven,” and Matt. 6:33.]
I have created you, I have created mankind, You are individuals who live in family and in community. Each of you is designed to be unique and special.
You have autonomy. You have your own brain, your own personality, your own preferences, your unique physical features, even your unique voice.
Each of you has your own unique potential to be a unique blessing to those in your family and in your community. Understand that you are created to be connected to the Lord your God.
You receive spiritual life and sustenance from Me to share with others, creating a flow of health and living power. God is love and you are created in the image of God. You are created to reflect the love of God.
Scriptures references:
Ps. 139:13 – For You formed my inward parts; You knitted me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.
Isaiah 50 explains the prophet Isaiah’s gifting and calling to speak into the lives of his backslidden countrymen out of God’s love for them.
I Jn. 4:7-8 – Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
Because I have created you in love, you have the freedom to choose between good and evil. From Genesis to Revelation the Scriptures explain this truth as it plays out in the lives of those who have lived before you, even to instruct you and give you wisdom.
Scriptures references:
Deuteronomy 30:15-20 – ….19-20 I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse.
Therefore, choose life, that you and your offspring may live, loving the LORD your God, obeying His voice and holding fast to Him, for He is your life and length of days, that you may dwell in the land…
I Kings 18:21 – And Elijah came near to all the people and said, “How long will you go limping between two different opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, then follow him.”
Deuteronomy 32 – This is a song that God gave to Moses (31:16-30) to teach to the Israelites so they could understand why things would happen to them as a nation and how they should respond.
The power and glory of God—of love—is evidenced in the midst of hardships, even in the midst of evil. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.
Even amid hardships, difficulties and evil I am the God of redemption and restoration. Remember, from your perspective you cannot always see and understand everything. Have faith nevertheless, and trust Me. Trust Me even in the timing.
